“Victor Agius’ works had a profound impact on me and I experienced an immediate emotional encounter with the exhibits, inducing me to develop, in a very short span of time, the concept of ‘CONSUME // An Immersive Sound Performance’. The sound textures which will be created during this performance are experienced in the now, the sound sources becoming devices of exploration of "chance elements”, as visual artist Vince Briffa appropriately terms Victor’s approach to some of the works. Dissected and consumed, and like the ashes in steel buckets of “Leftovers”, there is nothing much left of the original sound sources which instead go through a process of metamorphosis.”
